[Festival Preview] Last Train Home / Various Venues @ Darlington

Last Train Home festival is an all-day multi-venue event organised by Tracks Darlington with five stages across venues including The Forum and Hullabaloo Theatre hosting live music from national and local artists, and stand-up sets from upcoming comedians via the Hilarity Bites Comedy Club. The recently refurbished 1,000-capacity Darlington Hippodrome is also included in the 2023 venue programme for the first time.

Last Train Home takes place on September 2 and this year’s line-up includes LIFE, Tom A Smith, English Teacher, Low Girl and Hot Wax, with more music and comedy acts to be announced. North East acts Holy Moly & The Crackers, Pit Pony, Wax Heart Sodality and Cortney Dixon also join the line-up.

Sarah Wilson, Co-Founder and Events Manager at Tracks Darlington says: “It is fantastic to be able to bring the festival back this year for its sixth outing [with] five stages over three venues featuring some truly exciting regional and national artists all programmed to finish in time for gig goers to catch the last train home. Our venues are all close together and are all accessible which, as a part-funded festival with Arts Council England, is very important to Tracks.”

Tracks Darlington is a music collective producing events and activities for the benefit of musicians, music organisations and local community. Founded in 2016, Tracks also runs Noisy Daughters, a project focused on empowering women in music; and Big Little Gigs, which brings live music experiences to children and parents.
